I'm working on the interface between artificial intelligence and neuroscience.

I'm interested in brain-inspired computing methods. I try to integrate more brain facts into deep learning models for boosting their performances in computer vision tasks including object recognition and detection. In addition, I'm involved in a neuromorphic hardware project, which aims at developing an intelligent and energy-efficient brain-like system.

I'm also interested in understanding the brain, especially the mechanisms of sensory information processing. The main techniques include hierarchical computational models and functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI).
